shanxi datong university is a full-time multi-disciplinary university under the provincial level. it is now the only university jointly built by the department and city in shanxi province. it is a master's degree awarding unit authorized by the state council degree committee. it is a major member of the national alliance of applied technology universities, china education think tank alliance, shanxi teacher education alliance, shanxi higher medical education resources alliance and the "wudazhang" college education alliance. it is a cooperative college for the ministry of education's school planning, construction and development center, and the phoenix education "innovative application demonstration base for digital media industry and education integration" project. it is the first batch of pilot universities for application-oriented transformation in shanxi province.
